Preparation
Support before a partner-led program may include funded preparation sessions or practical help that makes participation more manageable.
For Veterans
If you are a veteran exploring support, or you are reaching out for a veteran you care about, Operation Solace can help you understand what may be available and what a useful next step could look like.
You do not need to have the right words or know exactly what kind of support to ask for.
Need immediate help?
If you are in crisis or need urgent support, call 988 and press 1, text 838255, or use the Veterans Crisis Line chat. Operation Solace is not emergency mental-health care.
Start where you are
Maybe you are considering psychedelic-assisted healing and want to understand the support around it. Maybe you have already had an experience and are trying to make sense of what comes next. Maybe you are a family member, caregiver, friend, or supporter trying to help a veteran find a path forward.
You do not need to diagnose the problem or choose a program before contacting Operation Solace. Reaching out can simply start a conversation about where you are and what may be useful.
Ways we may be able to help
Support before a partner-led program may include funded preparation sessions or practical help that makes participation more manageable.
After an experience, integration support can help turn insight into something useful in everyday life and keep the work from ending when the program does.
Peer connection and community can help reduce isolation and give veterans people to talk with as they continue their healing.
When resources allow, Operation Solace may help with practical barriers such as meals and program-related costs.
Specialized therapeutic or clinical services are provided by independent partners, not Operation Solace.
What happens when you reach out
Tell us what is going on, what you are looking for, or what you are worried about. Operation Solace can help clarify which kinds of support or independent partner options may be relevant.
Availability depends on the situation and current partner resources. Reaching out does not guarantee funding, placement, or a particular service.
Information shared through the contact path is treated as private and confidential.

From veterans who have been there
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the incredible gift you gave me. Your generosity made it possible for me to experience this ayahuasca journey, and I truly do not have the words to express what it has meant to me.
I came here carrying burdens that had been weighing on me for a long time. I knew I needed something to change, but I was not sure what that looked like. This experience gave me exactly what I needed. It allowed me to heal, reflect, and reconnect with parts of myself that I had lost along the way. I am in a much better place mentally, emotionally, and spiritually than when I arrived.
What you gave me was not simply the opportunity to attend a retreat. You gave me the chance to heal. You gave me hope, perspective, and a renewed sense of purpose. That is a gift that reaches far beyond this moment and will continue to shape my life for years to come.
Experiencing the impact of your generosity has also changed the way I see giving. I now understand, on a deeply personal level, the profound difference one act of kindness can make in another person’s life. My hope is that one day I will be in a position to do for someone else what you have done for me, to pay this gift forward and help another person find the healing and peace they need.
Thank you for believing in me and for investing in someone else’s well being without expecting anything in return. Your kindness has had a lasting impact on my life, and I will never forget it.
I am deeply grateful for you, your generosity, and the heart behind it all. Thank you for helping me find my way back to myself.
When I was struggling, I felt like I was navigating things on my own. I didn't know where to turn, and I wasn't aware resources like Operation Solace existed. They connected me with the support I needed at a critical time, and that support made a real difference in my life.
